Consent and Participation of Minors

We prioritize the safety and autonomy of the minor while fostering a supportive family environment. All interventions are conducted with professional sensitivity to developmental needs and legal requirements.
Confidentiality and Limits
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all family consultations and interventions. Exceptions to confidentiality occur when there is a risk of harm to oneself or others, in cases of suspected child or elder abuse, or when mandated by law. We respect the privacy of every family member participating in our navigation process.
Consent & Participation of Minors
Fuller Support Care is dedicated to the well-being of families and minors under the age of 18. We believe that family recovery and success often require the collective participation of all members, yet we hold the legal and ethical standards for minor participation with the utmost care.
Participation of a minor in behavioral health navigation or intervention support requires the explicit written consent of a legal parent or authorized guardian. We verify guardianship before commencement of services involving individuals under 18 to ensure all support is provided within appropriate legal frameworks. We work closely with families to explain the intervention process and how it affects the minor's environment and care pathway.
While legal consent is provided by the guardian, we prioritize the emotional safety and dignity of the minor throughout our navigation services. Our goal is to create a compassionate environment where the youth feels heard while ensuring the family moves toward a structured and effective recovery plan.
